On December 14, 2023, The Foundation for Active Civic Education-FACE unveiled its new project focused on HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, and tuberculosis prevention to the Nsanje District AIDS Coordinating Committee (DACC).
This initiative, aimed at supporting young adults aged 15-35 in the Traditional Authorities of Mbenje and Tengani, is made possible through funding from the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF).

Following FACE's presentation, Reverend Wells Makwenemba, Chairperson of Nsanje DACC, commended FACE and AHF for collaborating on this well-crafted project, expressing optimism about its potential impact on HIV/AIDS, STIs, and TB prevention.
Makwenemba encouraged FACE to diligently implement all outlined activities, as the Nsanje DACC believes these initiatives will contribute significantly to disease prevention.
The 12-month project will achieve its goals through various activities, including journalist training on HIV, STI, and TB prevention reporting, awareness meetings, road shows, football and netball bonanzas, among others.
